One of our Chapter Burger Ride regulars highly recommended this place and after looking at their website and pictures of their Burger selections I’m really looking forward to Lucky Monk!

From a review: “Classic burger, meat was nice and juicy and a great medium rare. Lettuce was a little soft and I love onions so would have liked more red onions but the beef was great. Bun held up nicely to all the ingredients and had nice light buttery crust to it. Hand cut fries were nice with a bit of chew and crisp to exterior. Lucky Monk will not disappoint with the food, flavors and their service. If you’re looking for a great place for burgers look no further.”

The ride will take us down Brinker Rd that is special to my wife’s family because her grandmother grew up on a family farm on Brinker. Her grandfather lived in Barrington and would walk from town to the farm when they were dating. Brinker Rd has many hills and dips which are unusual for this area and while growing up, my wife and her siblings loved it when their father would drive them down Brinker, up and down the hills.
