This journey is an adventure of Rock Cut State Park, Loves Park, IL. Lunch is at the Boone County Family Café. This Illinois gem known for family-oriented activities is a great spot for having fun. Pierce Lake is stocked with a good range of fish species. Boat rentals are available. Loan Rock Café provides some nice foods. A large campground site is popular. The Lion’s Picnic site is well used. A check-list of approximately 220 species of birds have been identified within, at the boundaries or flying over the park. The Park roads meander and roam thru both dense and scenic wooded areas and provide many delightful vistas of Pierce Lake.
